“For as long as I can remember art has always been a part of my life. I would doodle on the margins of my notes
and I was always fascinated with the art that surrounds our everyday lives. When I was in middle school I
attended the Visual and Performing Arts Summer Camp at RBR. I always thought that I would end up being a
vocal or drama major since I love musical theater so much, and I would be in the musicals at the camp every
year. However, as I grew older I learned more about myself and I found my true passion in art. Over the past four
years in the studio Art Program I have been building ip my skills, as well as expanding and pushing my creative
limits. I have always loved impressionism and post-impressionism which had a huge impact on my work. I
wouldn’t say that I have a medium that I love the most since this program has given me the opportunity to play
with so many. However, the digital work is at the top of my list. My style has a somewhat comic style to it,
however still somewhat realistic. I hope that in the future I can share my art with the world, whether that be in an
art show or my name in the credits of a movie.”
Corinne Costello is a resident of Shrewsbury and a student at Red Bank Regional in the Studio Art Program.
She would like to thank her family and friends who have always supported and inspired her. Her love for art has
only become stronger over the past four years, and guided her to this point in her life. In the fall she will begin
her journey through art school in hopes to become an animator.
