Gina Torello earned her Masters of Fine Arts degree from the Dominican University in Florence, Italy,
concentrating in painting. While in Florence, she taught at Boardman Studio’s undergraduate Academy, and
exhibited her work at Villa Schifanoia and Peroni’s Bottega. She lived and worked in Europe for five years during
and after her graduate studies.
She is presently in her 17 year of teaching at Monmouth University. She is also an Adjunct Professor at
th
Brookdale Community College, teaching a variety of art classes during her tenure. Additionally, Gina has been
instructing classical fine art classes for over twenty years through the Monmouth County Parks System.
