Mixed Media Collage
with Megan Gilhool

Artist Biography
Megan Gilhool is an Exhibiting Member at the Guild of Creative Art. She is a self-taught artist who began painting with watercolors as a child, driven by a love of color, imagination, and creative expression. Over the years, that early passion evolved into a lifelong journey in the arts. She has had the privilege of participating in numerous art shows and have held many solo exhibitions celebrating her work. “My artistic path has led me to paint large-scale murals in restaurants, bars, and private homes — each one a unique collaboration of space, story, and style. I also owned and operated an art gallery, where I hosted exhibitions and taught classes, creating a welcoming space for community and creativity to thrive. “Today, I continue to paint murals and original pieces while sharing my experience and techniques through teaching. I believe that everyone has an artist within them, and my goal is to help students discover their voice, trust their instincts, and enjoy the process of creating art.” – Megan Gilhoo
