The Guild of Creative Art presents:
250 Years: Past, Present and Future
Prospectus

The Guild of Creative Art invites members and nonmembers to participate in 250 Years:
Past, Present, and Future, a visual journey celebrating the 250th anniversary of our nation. Artists are encouraged to depict an event from the past, present, or future, reflecting the story and evolution of American history.

Exhibition Dates: June 27, 2026 – July 26, 2026
Location: Guild of Creative Art Gallery
Receiving: June 25, 2026, from Noon to 7:00
Pick-Up: July 30, 2026, from Noon to 7:00

All artwork will be displayed on the mobile wall in our gallery.

Eligibility
Open to all artists and photographers, Guild Members and Non-Members

Artwork Guidelines
All work must be 5 x 7 inches.
Artwork may be either landscape or portrait orientation.

No frame or mat is necessary.
Artwork should be on light- to medium-weight paper.
Please do not use cardboard or canvas (see paper weight chart below).

Paper Weight Guidelines
      Sketching & Drawing (Dry Media): 50–80 lb / 75–130 gsm
      Ink & Marker: 70–100 lb / 100–150 gsm
      Mixed Media: 90–140 lb / 180–300 gsm
      Watercolor: 140–300 lb / 300–640 gsm

The artist’s name may appear on the front of the artwork.
Double-sided tape will be used to adhere the artwork to the mobile wall.
Please write the title, price, medium, and artist’s name on the back of the artwork.

The Guild reserves the right to reject any objectionable or non-conforming artwork.

No Entry Fees
Participation is free.
Up to three (3) works may be submitted.
No commission will be taken by the Guild if the artwork is sold.

Insurance
Please note: The Guild of Creative Art specifically disclaims any liability for the loss, damage, or theft of any artwork exhibited or stored on its premises. Artists are responsible for insuring their own work from delivery through pick-up and return.
